سجلت الكويت 66 حالة إصابة بفيروس كورونا المستجد، خلال الـ24 ساعة الماضية، ليرتفع بذلك عدد الحالات إلى 1300، حسبما أعلن عبد الله السند الناطق الرسمي باسم وزارة الصحة الكويتية، الاثنين.
وقال السند، في مؤتمر صحفي، أن إجمالي حالات الوفاة بلغ حالتين حتى الآن، إحداهما جديدة لمواطن كويتي عمره 50 عاما كان يتلقى الرعاية الطبية بالعناية المركزة، والأخرى سُجلت مطلع شهر أبريل الجاري.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء الكويتية (كونا) عن السند قوله إن مجموع الحالات التي أعلن شفاؤها بلغ 150 حالة من الحالات التي كانت أصيبت بمرض كوفيد-19.
وكانت الكويت قد أعلنت تعطيل الأعمال في 12 مارس، مع استثناء الجهات التي تقدم خدمات أساسية، ثم مددته لاحقا، كإجراء احترازي لمكافحة فيروس كورونا انتهى.
