أجرى علماء جامعة كوبنهاغن بالاشتراك مع علماء معهد BGI في شينزن دراسة، اكتشفوا خلالها أنه بعد تناول المضادات الحيوية، تعيد بكتيريا الأمعاء عددها وليس تكوينها.
وبحسب العلماء، تؤكد هذه النتائج على أنه يجب اللجوء إلى تناول المضادات الحيوية فقط في الحالات الضرورية، وبناء على وصفها من قبل الطبيب.
ويدرك العلماء وجود تريليونات من مختلف أنواع البكتيريا في أمعاء الإنسان، تلعب دورا مهما في عملية الهضم والمناعة. ولكن إلى فترة قريبة، لم تعد أي دراسة لمعرفة رد فعل نبيت الأمعاء على المضادات الحيوية.
وكان هدف الدراسة الجديدة التي أجراها علماء الدنمارك والصين، هو دراسة حالة الأمعاء في فترة تناول المضادات الحيوية، وقد خضع المشتركون فيها لفحص طبي شامل قبل وبعد تناول المضادات الحيوية.
واتضح للباحثين أنه بعد دورة تناول المضادات الحيوية، يعود تركيب نبيت الأمعاء إلى حالته الطبيعية بعد ستة أشهر، ولكن ليس بصورة كاملة، حيث تختفي بعض أنواع البكتيريا تماما، فيما تتعزز بعض الأنواع المضرة للجسم.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن هذه الدراسة أجريت على رجال أصحاء تماما، لذلك فإن هذه النتائج ستكون مختلفة إذا أجريت على رجال مرضى.
وتناول المشتركون في الدراسة مزيجا من مستحضرات طبية معروفة توصف عادة لعلاج مختلف أنواع العدوى البكتيرية. وبعد أربعة أيام بدأ الباحثون في مراقبة سلوك بكتيريا الأمعاء.
وبعد انتهاء التجربة، أخذت عينات براز لمعرفة تركيب نبيت الأمعاء، كما أخذت العينات بعد دورة تناول المضادات الحيوية مباشرة وبعد مضي يومين وبعد ستة أشهر.
وبينت العينات الأولى “دمارا وبقاء جزئيا”، حيث انخفض عدد البكتيريا بصورة حادة، ولكن بعضها حافظ على عدده. وبعد ستة أشهر عمليا، عاد عدد البكتيريا تقريبا إلى ما كان عليه، ولكن تكوينها لم يعد إلى ما كان عليه وبقي شحيحا وناقصا. فقد اختفت تسعة أنواع من الميكروبات السابقة، واكتشفت بدلا منها أنواع جديدة على شكل أبواغ غير نشطة.
