عقدت الاكاديمية الألمانية للاعلام / MACT السبت الموافق 14\4\2018 في بيروت ندوة مفتوحة حول دور الاعلام في انتخابات 2018 في العراق بحضور 12 من رؤساء ومدراء المؤسسات الإعلامية في العراق. افتتحت الندوة السيدة انيا فولنبيرك مديرة منظمة ام أي سي تي مشددة على ضرورة ان يكون الاعلام في فترة الانتخابات بعيدا عن الاصطفاف مع الأحزاب والمكونات وان يقف على مسافة واحدة من جميع المرشحين ضمانا لإعطائهم فرصا متكافئة في مرحلة الدعاية الانتخابية.
بعدها تطرقت الخبيرة في الازمات الدولية وإعادة بناء الدولة ماريا فانتابي وعبر سكايب عن واحدة من أبرز التحديات في العراق والمتمثلة بتجديد الطبقة السياسية في الدولة، معتبرة تلك مشكلة كبيرة، سواء في بغداد أو اربيل، فالشخصيات السياسية الموجودة هي ذاتها التي تقود المشهد منذ 2003 ولحد الآن، ولم تغير الكثير من توجهاتها ورؤاها رغم مواضع الفشل والعجز العديدة في ادارة الدولة”.
وتابعت “البرلمان لم يعمل بشكل صحيح ولم يقم بدوره كمراقب ومحاسب ولم يساهم في اصدار القوانين التي تساعد على تطوير العملية السياسية ومؤسسات الدولة وتحقيق التغيير في الحكومة والمجتمع”.
لكن فانتابي اشارت الى ان هناك في الانتخابات الحالية فرصة للتغيير، فالخريطة الانتخابية تظهر حصول انقسامات وولادة تحالفات جديدة في بغداد واربيل فهناك انقسامات وتنافس بين القوى المشكلة للطبقة السياسية القديمة واخرين يريدون تشكيل طبقة جديدة، وهذا قد يمنح فرصة للتغيير وان كان محدودا”.
و قد دار نقاش بين الشخصيات التي حضرة الندوة بشكل موضوعي ومهني وتم تشخيص كثير من المشاكل التي تواجة انتخابات 2018 وتم التطرق الى للحلول التي يمكن أن يتفادها الاعلام العراقي .
وفي ختام الندوة قالت السيدة انيا ان المناقشات التي شهدها الاجتماع بجلساته المتعددة، والتي استمرت نحو ثمان ساعات، وضمن طاولة حوار مفتوحة بمشاركة خبراء واعلاميين عراقيين، كانت مهمة للاطلاع على الرؤى المختلفة في مجال تغطية الانتخابات والتحديات ونقاط الضعف في التغطيات المحتملة للانتخابات والرؤى والتوصيات التي تخرج بها، للاستفادة منها في وضع برامج للعمل ولمواجهة السلبيات وتحسين التغطيات الاعلامية انتهى.
