مهرجان لقاء الاشقاء هو تحدي لكل من يحاول تعطيل الماكنة الثقافية العراقية .
ضمن فعاليات مهرجان لقاء الاشقاء الرابع عشر للهوايات والحرف المتنوعة .
كرنفال من منظمات المجتمع المدني ومساندة الجهات الرسمية لتنهض بهوايات وحرف متعددة من نحت على الخشب والسيراميك والفنون التشكيلية والخط والزخرفة الاسلامية والاعمال اليدوية والتراثية وهوايات جمع الطوابع والمراسلة والمسكوكات وعرض مقتنيات وعملات ثمينة وكتب ومطبوعات ووثائق نادرة وغيرها من الهوايات والحرف واقامة العديد من العروض السينمائية والعروض المسرحية وجلسات للشعرية والخطابة والمقام العراقي والانشودة الوطنية والغناء الريفي والبدوي وعروض مسرحية وعروض بالعاب الخفة السحرية وكذلك تنظيم زيارات الى الاماكن المقدسة والتراثية , والعمل على مد جسور التألف والمحبة والاخوة بين ابناء الشعب العراقي كون طبيعة المهرجان هو لقاء كل الاشقاء المشاركين من كل المحافظات العراقية اضافة الى مساهمات وصلت من اشقاء في المهجر لم يستطيعوا الوصول لعدم توفر الدعم لتمد جسور التواصل مع ايادي عراقية في الداخل وعلى مدى ثلاث ايام تنوعت الفعاليات وتألقت بغداد بتحدي كبير من قبل ابناؤها , ولعدم توفر الدعم المادي الا بشكل بسيط وحسب الامكانيات البسيطة المتوفرة لدى وزارة الثقافة ومحافظة بغداد وامانة بغداد ووزارة النقل ووزارة التعليم العالي بتوفير بعض الفنادق لسكن الوافدين من المحافظات وتوفير اجهزة الصوت والتسجيل وترتيب بعض البنى التحتية لتخدم المهرجان في مواقع مهمة لتعكس صورة لتراث وسياحة وثقافة بغداد الاصيلة .
اما اختيار المحطة العالمية لسكك الحديد لافتتاح مهرجان لقاء الاشقاء في اليوم الاول للمهرجان جاء باكثر من مدلول لكون اسم المهرجان لقاء فهنا تم اللقاء في المحطة اضافة الى ان المحطة هومعلم تراثي قديم وقدير .
وللمتحف الوطني العراقي تحول المهرجان في اليوم الثاني, لما له من قدسية تاريخية وهو مسجل في اليونسكو ومسجل فيه كل حضارات العراق في كل العصور التأريخية حيث تم عرض اعمال الحرفيين والفنانيين التشكيليين والمسرحيين .
وختم الاشقاء مهرجانهم في اليوم الثالث في نهر دجلة باقامة مسابقات تجذيف ايقضت هتافاتهم والحان المقام العراقي ضفتي دجلتنا الخالد في لقاء اجمل الاشقاء .
فيما استقبل المركز الثقافي البغدادي والقشلة والمتحف البغدادي وقاعة ارت سيكرتس في شارع المتنبي عشرات الوافدين من متلذذي الشعر والادب وموسيقى التراث البغدادي .
ونتيجة تظافر الجهود المبذولة من قبل اعضاء اللجنة التحضيرية العليا للمهرجان متمثلة بالاساتذة الفضلاء والسيدات الفاضلات : (هلال حاضر العبيدي / رئيس اللجنة التحضيرية ,ثائر عبد الرزاق عباس / نائب رئيس اللجنة التحضيرية , احمد هاشم المحمود / نائب رئيس اللجنة التحضيرية , جاسم سدخان البيضاني / نائب رئيس اللجنة التحضيرية الفني , تنهيد علي المياحي / نائب رئيس اللجنة التحضيرية الاداري , والاعضاء سعاد محسن , منى الياس ,جبران حمزة , ابراهيم محمد ,عبد الكاظم عمران, عبد الستار محسن , د. محمد حسين , هاشمية محمد , فليح حسن ,والدكتور فراس علي ) فقد عملوا بهمة ومتابعة وبشكل تطوعي من بداية التحضيرلمهرجان اللقاء وافتتاحه وحتى تم ختامه بنجاح كبير .
المهرجان تقليد سنوي وكل سنة يتزايد عدد المشاركين وتتزايد الجهات الساندة وهو مهرجان غير مدعوم وكل المشاركين هم من المتطوعين ويحضرون من مدن ومناطق بعيدة للمشاركة لاحياء تراثنا وثقافتنا العراقية الاصيلة .
اما اهم التوصيات التي خرج بها المهرجان والتي يجب العمل عليها للمهرجانات القادمة هي تخصيص ميزانية لدعم هكذا مشاريع ثقافية وتبني ودعم الابداع والمبدعين داخل العراق وخارجه وتسهيل المساهمات الخارجية . انتهى
